The port builds\nthe native digital audio workstation and CLI from the tagged source plus\nits pinned `craft-libs` Rust archive, installs desktop integration, and\ndepends on ALSA's OSS plug-in for FreeBSD audio playback.\n\n## Validation\n\n- MidnightBSD amd64, Rust 1.95: `bmake makesum`, `bmake patch`, `bmake\n-DNO_DEPENDS` release build, `bmake -DNO_DEPENDS fake`, `bmake\n-DNO_DEPENDS makeplist`, `bmake -DNO_DEPENDS generate-plist`, `bmake\n-DNO_DEPENDS check-fake`, and `bmake -DNO_DEPENDS package` passed.\n- `bmake -DNO_DEPENDS test`: 40 tests passed across three suites.\n- `portlint -N`, `bmake check-license`, and `git diff --check` passed.\n- The 10 MB package archive contains both binaries and desktop assets;\nboth packaged binary hashes match the staged binaries. `ldd` showed no\nunresolved libraries.\n- The CLI reported version 0.6.1, rendered a one-second 48 kHz stereo\nWAV from the demo, and read that WAV back. The GUI opened under Xvfb\nwith software GL.\n\nThe host's installed mport database schema caused dependency queries to\nfail, so the build used installed dependencies with `-DNO_DEPENDS` and a\nlocally built `mport.create` for packaging.
